Wellness is a holistic integration of physical, mental and spiritual well-being. This weekend retreat is rooted in the understanding that all of these aspects affect our overall health and by fuelling the body, engaging the mind, and nurturing the spirit, we can adopt a synergistic approach working towards optimising 'the whole' - 'Total Body Wellness'.
With a team of expert practitioners, you will be assigned your own personal wellness coach for the weekend along with the opportunity to engage in a variety of holistic activities to nourish your mind, body and soul.
Please be mindful that all activities are optional and you may participate in as much or as little as you feel appropriate for continuing your wellness journey here at The Retreat.

Day 1
15:00 | Welcome & Refreshments: Time to meet the other members of the group, explore and settle into your home for the weekend. |
15:30 | Creating Your Vision / One-One Consultations: During this manifesting workshop you will be provided with inspiration and the tools to create your own vision for the future. There will be time for you to explore the surroundings whilst Emma & Helen carry out individual one-one consultations & Goal Setting (an opportunity to discuss your current nutrition/dietary habits, lifestyle and goals & set your intentions for the weekend). |
18:00 | Healing Through Movement 1: This session uses a combination of techniques combining elements of Yoga, Pilates and body conditioning to build a challenging holistic workout. Engage your mind as well as your muscles focusing on posture, core stability and body alignment. |

20:30 | An Introduction to Aromatherapy: The benefits of aromatherapy on the senses have been used for thousands of years. During this session, Helen will guide you through the benefits of aromatherapy and how you can use them to your advantage in your day-to-day life. You will also have the opportunity to personalise your own ‘sleep roller remedy’ to help you have a peaceful night sleep alongside your candlelight meditation session. |
21:00 | Candlelight Sound Bath Meditation: This session focuses on awakening all your senses supporting the health of the Spiritual, Emotional, and Physical body. Surround yourself with the subtle aromatherapy scents as you explore your daily habits of breath, mind and health and begin to see a new way to nourish yourself through the medium of sound therapy. Chakras are the seven main energy centres of our body, these swirling vortexes regulate our energy flow with very sense, feeling and experience being connected to a specific Chakra. When you are stressed about something, the Chakra itself can become unbalanced and this can manifest itself as illness in your physical and emotional body. |
21:30 | Relax & Unwind: Enjoy the fire pit under dark skies and get to know other members of the group or retire to the hot tub for some ‘You’ time. |
Day 2
07:30 | Healing Through Movement 2: Gradually build heat in the body as you work through the structured postures and sequences from yesterday, combining movement and breath for the ultimate mind-body practice. This session combines elements of Hatha an Vinyasa Yoga practice, sometimes referred to as ‘flow yoga’. |

10:00 | Setting Healthy Boundaries: Empower yourself to create your own future when you learn to release patterns of the past! This session is designed to help you learn skills that will allow you to find a more peaceful and harmonious way of being by setting healthy boundaries and remembering your priorities. Setting appropriate boundaries is one of the most essential skills for stress management and addressing mental health. |

14:00 | Crystal Workshop: The use of crystals has been around for centuries. Crystals have healing abilities for many things including medical conditions and supporting mood. During this workshop you will learn about the benefits of using crystals in your day-to-day life, their meanings and attributes, alongside the opportunity to experiment with specific crystal combinations during your stay @ The Retreat. |

17:00 | Gentle Movement & Mindfulness Workshop: The breath is our most direct connection to life. Various breathing techniques (when coupled with gentle movement) can be used for relaxation, meditation, healing, or to tap into the subconscious mind. This session teaches you how breathing can clear the mind, de-stress the body, and reprogram yourself to “let it go.” |

20:30 | Colour & Vibration Meditation Workshop: We are surrounded by vibrations all the time. Our sense of hearing picks up sound vibrations, our eyes see light vibrations as colour and our sense of smell detects the different vibrations of scent molecules. During this session, Emma explores the benefits of vibrational healing through the medium of colour and how we can influence our energy flows, remove any blockages and restore imbalances in the subtle body. You will be guided through the second part of this session, by Helen, our Reiki practitioner. You’ll explore the benefits and origins of Reiki and its connections to the Chakra system, with the opportunity to experience some Reiki healing, first-hand! |

Day 3
07:30 | Gentle Hatha Yoga & Body Alignment: A great start to the morning, this session works on using the breath to develop postures and work through gentle stretches to help strengthen and align the body and mind. |

12:00 | Bach Flower Remedy Workshop: An introduction to the Bach Flower Remedy system. The essences were developed in the 1930s by Dr Edward Bach, a physician and homeopath who believed that the key to good health was emotional harmony. He identified 38 flower essences made from wild plants, trees and bushes, each one corresponding to a specific emotion. During this session you will gain insight into the remedies, their healing properties and have time to personalise your own blend to take away with you. |

14:30 | Depart & Goodbyes: You will depart Old Lan Farmhouse with a new perspective and sense of connecting to who you really are. The instructors will provide you with tools you can take into your daily routine for better physical, spiritual and emotional health. |

** Create your vision: During the retreat weekend there will be the opportunity for you to review and reflect on your goals, core values, dreams and ambitions. We will provide you with the inspiration and tools to create your own vision board for your future.
We highly recommend all of our clients engage in some type of physical activity every day, either on their own or as part of their retreat. Please remember that all sessions are optional and you can take part in as much or as little as you like!
